Structural Build

Phoenix: custom-built detached booth inside fully-treated detached studio.  Robert's SuperFelt acoustic underlayment beneath mahogany LVP flooring for absorption.  Studio insulated with Roxul Safe-n-Sound and outfitted with acoustic paneling.  Booth walls and ceiling insulated with Roxul Safe-n-Sound, comprised of four layers of 5/8" sealed drywall with Green Glue dampening compound between.  Custom-built bass traps and Audimute acoustic blankets for additional absorption inside booth.

 

Tucson: fully-treated central room serving as both studio and booth.  Raised plywood beneath with dense carpet flooring.  Insulated with standard rock wool insulation.  Three layers of 5/8" sealed drywall with Green Glue dampening compound between, with exterior layer of soundboard.  Custom-built bass traps and Audimute acoustic blankets for additional absorption.
