"LINCOLN"

SASHA’s abusive, alcoholic father. Originally a respected cop and a good man, happily married to the love of his life. But when his wife died giving birth to SASHA, it broke him…the downward spiral and medical fees took a heavy toll on his mind, his family, and his livelihood, but he blamed his daughter for all of it.  LINCOLN found his only solace at the bottom of liquor bottles, and severe alcoholism lead to the neglect and abuse of his daughter.  The situation worsened when SASHA became a teenager—his constant drunkenness finally cost him his badge, which was the only thing holding him together. Suddenly jobless and faced with staggering debt from both the medical expenses and his addiction, LINCOLN fell from depression to depravity…he began whoring out his daughter to men in exchange for money and liquor, drowning his guilt at every opportunity.  To make it easier on himself and the customers, he would keep her sedated by giving her roofies before every ‘session’.  As time dragged on, however, SASHA stopped swallowing the pills—instead, she hid them in her room. Continuing to playing the part, she burned every twisted act and memory into her brain, all the while crafting a way to escape the hell she was trapped in. When LINCOLN drunkenly passes out too close one stormy evening, she sees her chance. Stealing the key to her shackle, she frees herself and chains up her father. He wakes up to find himself bound and helpless; as he makes his plea, SASHA shoves her entire stash of hidden roofies down his throat. As he is overdosing, she  takes his old service pistol, looks him in the eyes, and executes him. Despite his death, the memory of his vile actions are what fuel his daughter’s hatred.
